Elizabeth Vose is a children’s book illustrator originally from rural Missouri. She moved to Cleveland, Ohio several years ago to attend the Cleveland Institute of Art where she is studying for her Bachelors degree in Illustration and a minor in Creative Writing. She has been working for the past two years as a henna tattoo artist and face painter. Usually, artists are not able to see the effects their work has on others, but working as a body artist has given Elizabeth the ability to witness the pure joy that artwork can bring firsthand. She is thrilled to be able to provide a personalized and positive creative experience for the many customers she meets.

Her current artistic goals are to continue writing and illustrating children’s books as well as to create and sell her own licensing collection. Elizabeth’s vibrant artistic style utilizes watercolor and other traditional media texturing to bring her digital renderings to life. She specializes in books starring playful child and animal protagonists. The coloring, styles, and characters in her art are designed to draw children into wholesome and engaging worlds filled with meaningful life lessons. As a child, she was constantly buried in books transporting her to whimsical worlds, and she desires the books that she creates to do the same for the next generation.
